RESPONSBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, etc. using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and written specifications.
• Ability to understand and follow lock out and tag out procedures and OSHA safety standards.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance as assigned or required.
• Connect wires to transformers, circuit breakers, etc.
• Be able to test electrical systems to ensure compatibility and safety of all systems using test equipment.
• Be able to diagnose malfunction systems, etc. using test equipment and hand tools and be able to locate the malfunction and correct it.
• Understanding concepts of controls with knowledge of how to wire and trouble shoot.
COMPETENCIES:
• Be able to understand and interpret the National Electrical Code.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards.
• Follow directions thoroughly.
• Communicate well with co-workers and clients.
• Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Work independently with little direction.
JOB TYPE:
• Full-time.
• Overtime as needed or required.
EXPERIENCE:
• 5 years or more of experience working as an industrial or commercial electrician.
• Minimum Journeyman Electrical License or in the process of going through an accredited journeyman’s program.
