On September 24, Baystar employees spent time volunteering with Clothed by Faith, supporting its mission to provide clothing, dignity and hope to individuals and families in need.

The day came with an unexpected bonus. We learned that one of Clothed by Faith's interns is the daughter of a Baystar employee, highlighting how our connections often reach beyond the workplace and into the communities where we live and give back.

We're grateful to our employee volunteers for dedicating their time and energy to support organizations that make a difference every day.

💙 Thank you, Clothed by Faith, for the important work you do every day.

Twelve Baystar team members. Three university campuses. One goal: connecting with tomorrow's talent.

This fall, we enjoyed meeting students at Texas A&M, Lamar University, and the University of Houston and sharing what makes Baystar a great place to start a career.

Last week, Baystar team members rolled up their sleeves and volunteered at the Galveston County Food Bank, sorting grocery items that will help support local families and individuals in need.

It was a rewarding day spent giving back to our community and putting our Caring core value into action. We're grateful for the opportunity to support the important work the Galveston County Food Bank does every day and proud of our team for making a difference together.

Our Fill the Bus School Supply Drive wrapped up on July 22, and WOW...look what our team collected in just one month!

That's thousands of supplies heading to local students who are getting ready for a successful school year. ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated and helped us fill the bus. Your generosity will make a real difference in classrooms across our community.

As summer arrives, protecting ourselves from extreme heat becomes more important than ever.
Whether you're working outdoors, exercising, or simply spending more time in the sun, taking steps to prevent heat-related illness can make a significant difference.

At our site, we're recognizing the summer season through our annual Beat the Heat campaign, which reinforces the importance of:
✅ Staying hydrated
✅ Taking cooling breaks
✅ Looking out for friends and coworkers
✅ Recognizing and responding to signs of heat stress

We encourage everyone in our community to prioritize heat safety this summer. A few simple precautions can help keep you and those around you safe.

Stay cool. Stay hydrated. Stay safe.

On June 11th, six amazing volunteers represented Baystar at Clothed by Faith Deer Park and truly lived out our values of caring and connected.

Our team spent the time sorting clothing donations and helping “shop” for clients. If you haven’t heard of this before, Clothed by Faith provides people in need with a full week’s worth of clothing—and volunteers get to help choose those items so each person leaves with outfits that work for their life.

It was a rewarding experience full of teamwork, generosity, and heart. We’re proud of our team for giving back and making a difference in our community 💙

We don’t panic—we prepare.

Hurricane season is about to clock in.

And while we can’t control the weather, we can control how ready we are when it shows up.

A few simple things that make a big difference:
• Know where you’ll go if you need to leave
• Keep your emergency kit stocked (water, meds, batteries = non negotiables)
• Charge devices early—not when the storm is already on the radar
• Don’t “wait and see” if officials say evacuate

Preparation isn’t overreacting—it’s looking out for yourself and your team.

Let’s go into this season ready.
