UA Local 598 JATC This is a demanding program that requires a deep level of commitment and perseverance.

United Association Local Union 598 Plumbers and Steamfitters Apprenticeship is a five year program consisting of 2000 hours of on the job training and 250 hours of class room instruction each year for five consecutive years. Apprentices have the same curriculum for the first and second year and then move to a specialized training track to become a Steamfitter, Plumber, Pipe Welder or HVAC-R Techni

cian. Our Earn-While-You-Learn Program is extremely rewarding with the best wages and benefits in the construction industry. Our contractor base works in 15 Eastern Washington counties, including Yakima, Moses Lake, Walla Walla, Pendleton, Hanford Reservation, Yakima Nation, Colville and Umatilla Indian Reservations.
