We’re SURVEYING the field and ready to ENGINEER the win!

We can't be more excited that football season is here, so we kicked it off with one of our favorite annual traditions, G3 Team Spirit Day & Tailgate!

Our offices had all the team colors, lots of good food, a little friendly competition, and plenty of football talk.

The rivalries may run deep, but when it comes to G3, we’re always on the same team.

G3 Engineering & Surveying is proud to continue supporting improvements and expansions including two new hangars at the Georgetown County Airport through our ongoing partnership with GGE AV, LLC.

Located on 129 Airport Rd in Georgetown, SC, the Georgetown County Airport is a county-owned, public-use airport. Originally built in 1941 by the United States Navy, the Georgetown County Airport is dedicated to serving the community and has promptly responded to the rapidly growing population with the installation
of new hangars.

Since first serving as the Designated Engineer for GGE AV, LLC in 2023, our team has provided engineering design, stormwater management, permitting, and surveying services. Survey tasks included designing the layout of hangar buildings, storm drainage, water, and sewer utilities along with as-builts of said aspects. We are excited to continue that work as multiple new aircraft hangars are added to the airport, during which G3 Engineering & Surveying will provide construction administration services.

Our team worked closely with our client and partners to ensure the project’s success, with considerable guidance and assistance from the Georgetown County Airport staff, specifically Airport Manager Jim Taylor.

It was a pleasure to work on this series of projects alongside a team of accredited companies in the Civil Engineering and Construction industries: Will Power Construction Management, G3 Consulting, Green Wave Contracting, and Poulin Custom Builders.

We’re proud to welcome Robert Green back to G3 Engineering & Surveying as our newest Business Development Manager.

Robert began his G3 experience as a summer intern in our Pawleys Island office. Since then, he has built valuable experience in business relations and land acquisition, developing a strong background in negotiation, regulatory processes, client relationships, and strategic growth.

In his new role, Robert will support business development efforts across our growing footprint, identifying new opportunities, cultivating client relationship, and working closely with our teams to support projects across all G3 divisions.

Great connections, good food, and a lot of team spirit!

The G3 team had a great time at the Georgetown County, SC Chamber of Commerce's Annual Business After Hours Tailgate Party at The Quad. We had a great time connecting with fellow Chamber members, community partners, and friends while showing a little love for our favorite teams.

Thanks to the Georgetown County Chamber for another great event. We’re proud to be part of such a strong and connected business community!

We were proud to join state and industry leaders this week for the ACEC-SC Infrastructure Works Institute Study Rollout which included our Director of Business Development, Representative Carla Schuessler as a part of the discussion.

Conversations like these are important as South Carolina continues to grow and plan for the infrastructure needs of our communities.

Congratulations to Kaitlyn Weimer, PLA on celebrating her 5 year anniversary with G3 this weekend!

Kaitlyn is our Senior Landscape Architect at our Myrtle Beach Branch and has contributed to several significant land planning efforts, utilizing her skills to carefully integrate ecological constraints within a phased master planning framework. We are so appreciative to have her as part of the G3 team.

Congratulations to G3's Tommy Holt on his graduation from Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation's Industry Awareness Development Course.

Tommy participated in the course alongside other industry leaders in Horry County, learning skills applicable to recruiting, supporting, and bolstering industry within the county.

At G3 Engineering and Surveying, our team members are dedicated to serving their communities, not only through our projects, but also through our community service and leadership endeavors.
