SO, WHAT DOES A TUNE-UP CONSIST OF?

✅INSPECTION OF THE CONDENSER: Dirt and debris will prevent the transfer of heat, causing your AC to stop performing at maximum capacity.

✅REFRIGERANT LEVEL CHECK: Low levels typically indicate the presence of a leak. You will want this sealed to add more refrigerant.

✅INSPECTION OF THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS:
A faulty electrical component is a major problem. Overheating and unsteady power could be the culprit damaging these components.

✅AIR FILTER INSPECTION: The most common mistake is the air filter not being replaced twice per year for seasonal maintenance.

✅LUBRICATION:
Without it, AC parts become less active as they have normal wear and tear.

A few FACTS for the 4th of July! 🎆 Stay Safe!!

1. Congress declared July 4th as an official holiday in 1870 as part of a bill to officially recognize other holidays, including Christmas.

2. The Pennsylvania Evening Post was the first newspaper to print the Declaration of Independence.

3. John Adams and Jefferson, both signers of the Declaration of Independence, died on July 4, 1826. James Monroe also died on July 4th in 1831.

4. The oldest, continuous Independence Day celebration in the United States is the 4th of July Parade in Bristol, Rhode Island which began in 1785.

They are considered a 🧰 jack-of-all-trades! Great HVAC technicians understand subtle distinctions in equipment produced by different manufacturers to be able to repair and maintain it. Being comfortable with different refrigeration systems, water heaters and air conditioners, is critical to their job.

They are also known as environmentalists ♻️! Proper ventilation is extremely important when it comes to our health, and the Environmental Protection Agency implements regulations to help promote proper air quality in our workplaces and in our homes.

They often squeeze into tight spaces 🕳! Water heaters and air conditioning vents can be tucked away into small closets, in the basement, or in the ceiling. They have to be comfortable with the dark, damp or hot spaces, and be able to fix things in those environments with the right tools.
