Christopher Asaro, COO & President of Holt Construction, was recently recognized at the Metro New York Labor Luncheon benefiting the Special Olympics of New York. The event celebrates the achievements and partnerships that continue to shape the construction industry while supporting the incredible athletes of the organization. Christopher Erikson Jr. of Local Union No. 3 was also honored during the event.

The project consists of constructing new electrical infrastructure at the bus depot to support the client’s transition from a gas-powered fleet to fully electric vehicles. The scope includes excavation supported by a drilled pile support of excavation system and the construction of six blast-rated electrical vaults designed to house utility transformers that will bring high-voltage service from the main grid to the facility.

Recently Completed: An interior fit-out of a vacant bank building into a sleek office space. Housing custom millwork, a new glass walled conference room with an operable garage door wall to accommodate an open office concept, in addition to seating, pantry, restroom and lobby area, Holt and its trade partners brought new life into this historical area of Brooklyn.

Throwback to this first Dave & Busters in Brooklyn, NY located on the third floor of the Atlantic Center. The fit-out featured hundreds of arcade games, a full-sized restaurant with a full kitchen/freezer, party room, and state-of-the-art bar with dozens of massive HDTVs for premium sports viewing experience.

Holt Construction is currently completing a new pre-engineered metal hangar within the Orange County, NY region. Currently a 290,000-gallon containment unit is being set below grade for a new foam fire suppression system. Once completed the new hangar will house a business jet as well as the capacity for two gulf stream jets and a helicopter.

Throwback to this multiphase Emergency Department Renovation
which added addental support offices, waiting areas, an MRI suite and patient
rooms. Constructed during the pandemic, Holt followed newly created safety
measures and adapted our own procedures to make sure staff, workers and patients
were safe during construction.
