Rust doesn’t start where you can see it. It starts inside.
Inside frame rails, boxed sections, and enclosed cavities, moisture and salt sit where spray coatings can’t get a full, even film. Thixo-Coat (formerly Thixo-Trop) was designed for those areas. It flows easily as you apply it, self-levels inside enclosed spaces, then sets up firm while staying semi-flexible.
What to know:
Gives multi-season protection in enclosed cavities and protected areas
Compatible with Rusts Gone converted surfaces, Under Gone undercoating, most automotive primers and paints, and bare or treated metal
Can be overcoated once cured
Black acrylic finish with epoxy-like thickness
Prep matters: pre-wash with Salts Gone to remove embedded salt, convert any rust with Rusts Gone, let it cure for 24 hours, and make sure the surface is clean and dry before you coat.
