Today I finally completed one of the most beautiful bathroom remodels I’ve had the pleasure of working on. The homeowners did an excellent job with the color collaboration from the wall paint to the tile to the vanities along with the fixtures I say completed however, the two vanities were custom built and ordered, and unfortunately one of them came in with some damage so it had to be sent back and it will take several weeks for the new one to come in. But until it does come in, I am completed with this job. Everything on this job was much more extensive and tedious than your standard bathroom remodel and what I had actually expected. We had a game plan moving into this remodel, but a lot of the items required a lot more work for installation. The freestanding tub has all hidden plumbing with an island drain that the tub gets set in the homeowners wanted bigger shelving units with the niches in the shower so I couldn’t use your standard box to set them, i had to frame the walls with 2 x 6 and make my own shelves with cement board. Then with the tile on the walls, they didn’t sell a corner piece, so I had to miter my corner was wrapping into the shower. Which came out even better than I had hoped for. Even the toilet in this bathroom was more challenging as it has a built-in bidet with electrical components that make it self operatable, so it required some electrical work and a different mounting system then a standard toilet. This actually comes with two brackets that had to be mounted into the tile and then the toilet sits on the brackets and mounts with a cam system. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to work on this bathroom and with the homeowners on this remodel!! I’m extremely pleased with the way everything came out and I can honestly say there’s nothing on this job that I would’ve done differently for a different outcome. Absolutely crushed it.!!!! 🔥 ✨☄️🔨🪤🪚
