Welcome to Bayshore Steel Detailing! We’re really glad you’re here.
We’re a steel detailing company, but most people don't really know what a steel detailer does. We take architectural and engineering plans and turn them into detailed, buildable shop and field drawings for our fabricator clients. We start with a 3D computer model, then translate that model into 2D drawings for our clients. As steel detailers, we are responsible for providing sizes and locations for every beam, column, brace, bolt, hole, and weld in a project. We’re the hidden force that helps keep everything precise, constructible, and safe.
But what we do is more than just lines on a screen. Every drawing we create is part of something bigger: a bridge, a hospital, a home, a store, a school... places that shape lives. Our work gets to come to life on the screen right before our eyes, and then it gets built out in the real world following our drawings and input. That’s why we care so deeply about getting it right.
