Abundant Energy Concepts LLC is looking to hire for two distinct positions supporting commercial restaurant and facility maintenance operations:
LEAD HVAC/R TECHNICIAN
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead HVAC/R Technician with extensive commercial experience, advanced troubleshooting abilities, and strong leadership skills. This position is ideal for a technician who can independently diagnose complex HVAC/R and refrigeration issues, mentor other technicians, communicate professionally with customers, and represent the company at the highest level.
EXTREMELY EXPERIENCED FIELD TECHNICIANS
We are also seeking exceptionally skilled Field Technicians with a strong commercial service background. Candidates must be capable of handling demanding service calls independently, troubleshooting complex equipment issues, and delivering professional, high-quality work across a variety of commercial environments.
Company vehicle provided for qualified technician.
We work with many of the top restaurant chains and commercial brands, covering the South with access to over 4,000+ restaurant locations. Because of that, occasional travel may happen. Hotel accommodations are provided when overnight travel is required.
Professionalism, communication, workmanship, appearance, and quality of service must be at the highest level. Every job site must be treated with respect, and every customer must be handled professionally.
We need someone who is very intelligent, experienced, and capable of troubleshooting real commercial problems in the field. The right candidate must understand commercial HVAC/R and be comfortable working across related trades when needed. While HVAC/R is an important part of the job, it is not an everyday task, as we provide a wide range of maintenance and repair services for restaurants and commercial facilities.
This position requires a technician who can properly troubleshoot and service RTU units, water-cooled systems, refrigeration equipment, walk-in coolers, and cold-side commercial kitchen equipment. Strong refrigeration and food equipment knowledge is highly preferred.
This is not a basic maintenance helper position. We need someone who can diagnose problems, make repairs, communicate clearly, and represent the company professionally on commercial job sites.
Work may include:
RTU troubleshooting and repairs
Water-cooled HVAC systems
Walk-in cooler and freezer repairs
Cold-side food equipment
Reach-in coolers and freezers
Prep tables
Refrigeration diagnostics
Electrical troubleshooting
Contactors, motors, controls, and overloads
Basic plumbing repairs
Commercial kitchen equipment service
Hood vent and make-up air troubleshooting
Preventive maintenance (PM) services
Must be reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
Requirements:
Must understand RTU units
Must understand water-cooled systems
Must know cold-side equipment
Must know refrigeration and walk-in coolers
Must understand commercial food equipment
Must be comfortable with basic electrical troubleshooting
Must be willing to assist with plumbing and food equipment repairs
Must have valid driver’s license
Must have basic tools
Must be able to take clear photos and write good job notes
Must be able to communicate professionally with customers
Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
Must be open to occasional travel when needed
Commercial restaurant service experience is strongly preferred.
Excellent pay depends on experience, skill level, reliability, leadership ability, and ability to handle multiple types of commercial service calls.
