Residential Carpenter – New Construction & Remodeling
Location: Peoria, IL and surrounding areas
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: Based on Experience

Job Summary
We’re looking for a skilled and dependable carpenter with experience in both new home construction and remodeling projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and thrives in a team environment while also being capable of working independently. You'll be responsible for building frameworks and structures, reading blueprints, and transforming clients’ visions into beautifully finished homes.

Key Responsibilities
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
Measure, cut, and shape wood, drywall, and other materials
Frame walls, floors, and roofs using hand and power tools
Assist with demolition and remodeling tasks, including layout, installation, and finish carpentry
Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
Follow all safety guidelines and building codes

Requirements
Proven carpentry experience in residential construction and remodeling
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship a plus
