Intern Spotlight: Stephen Grichnik

Meet Stephen, who is spending his summer gaining hands-on experience with our Agricultural Services team. Stephen is a sophomore at Iowa State University, where he is studying Agricultural Engineering.

Stephen was drawn to engineering because he enjoys solving challenging problems and seeing solutions come to life.

Outside of work and school, Stephen enjoys fishing, hunting, wrestling, and playing chess. One thing that makes him unique? He has split sports loyalties, cheering for both the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Bears.

We're excited to have Stephen on the team this summer and look forward to seeing his continued growth.

Intern Spotlight: Mason Rader

Say hello to Mason Rader, who is spending the summer working alongside our Construction Group. Mason recently completed his junior year and is looking forward to expanding his knowledge of the engineering profession through hands-on experience.

Mason's interest in engineering stems from his enjoyment of STEM courses and the challenge of solving complex problems. He is excited to learn more about the field and see how engineering concepts are applied in the real world.

When he's not working or studying, Mason enjoys spending time with friends and family, keeping up with the NFL and other sports, and playing with his dog, Rory. A fun fact about Mason: most people don't realize he wears glasses because he's almost always seen wearing contacts.

We're glad to have Mason with us this summer and look forward to being part of his professional journey.

Last Friday, employees and their families came together for our annual company baseball outing! It was a great evening filled with ballpark food, baseball, fireworks, and time spent connecting outside of the office. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it another memorable event!

Our Ag Intern, Stephen, had the opportunity to attend the Illinois Beef Annual Meeting yesterday alongside Aaron Orebaugh. The two spent the day representing Maurer-Stutz at our booth while also learning more about the current issues, challenges, and opportunities facing Illinois' beef industry.

Experiences like these help our interns connect classroom knowledge with real-world industry conversations and build valuable relationships within the agricultural community.

Intern Spotlight: Nolan Dexter

Meet Nolan, who is spending his summer gaining hands-on experience with our Construction Group. Nolan is a junior studying Civil Engineering at the University of Iowa and is eager to learn more about the industry through real-world projects and field experience.

What drew Nolan to engineering? He enjoys the design side of the profession and appreciates how much our daily lives depend on engineers getting things right.

Outside of work and school, Nolan enjoys running, playing video games, golfing, and watching sports. In fact, one thing that makes him unique is that he actually likes to run—even when most people don't!

We're excited to have Nolan on the team this summer and look forward to seeing his continued growth.
