Our Peotone location is currently without power, but we are OPEN and OPERATING. Our phones are working, our team is out in the community, and we’re doing everything we can to help those who need us.

This is a hard post to make and I can’t believe the day is finally here. Today is filled with so many emotions.

After an incredible journey, Laura is officially retiring.

It’s hard to put into words what Laura has meant to Kulacz & Sons. She has been here through the growth, the challenges, the celebrations, and all of the moments in between. Long before we became what we are today, she was helping build the foundation with dedication, loyalty, and a genuine care for both our team and our customers.

For years, she has been the calm in the chaos, the friendly voice on the phone (our customers just love her, they tell us whenever we’re out and about), the person who always made sure things were done right, and someone we could count on no matter what. Her work ethic is unmatched, but what we will miss most is the person behind it all. Her kindness, sense of humor (inside jokes and all), compassion, and unwavering support have left a lasting impact on every one of us.

Laura, thank you for the countless hours, the sacrifices, the memories, and the heart you poured into this company. You have helped shape not only our business but also the culture of our family here.

While we are excited for this next chapter of your life, saying goodbye is not easy. You leave behind a legacy that will continue to be felt for years to come.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything. We are endlessly grateful for the years you’ve given us and proud to have been part of your journey. There will always feel like apart of us is missing for sure.

Please join us in congratulating Laura on her retirement and wishing her a future filled with happiness, relaxation, adventure, and all the time in the world to enjoy the things she loves most.
