That’s a wrap for shop work for the winter season. We replaced the double frame in MJR Trucking’s 379 with a single half inch rail. Big help from The Pete Store Fitchburg for supplying the replacement parts and PG Adams for bending the new rails.

Another one done, new 3/8” outer and 1/4” inner frame rails.

Another update on this old international, 3 years ago we started picking away on a restoration, 2 years ago we did the frame and dump body. This year we swapped the cab for a rust free one and replaced the tired M11 Cummins with a low hour M11 Celect plus.

Off to paint. And on to the next job.

Update on the fire truck to dump truck conversion, body is off thanks to Murphy Welding's expertise, all fire truck wiring and mechanicals are out, axel's been moved forward and the frame's getting marked up for cuts.
