Over the weekend of 5/2/26, BGC, Inc. team members Skip M., Kevin B., CJ R. and H&K retiree Dan A. cleaned up a two-mile stretch of Blooming Glen Road/Minsi Trail between Route 113 and Dublin Road. The four gentlemen collected an impressive 330 gallons of trash and recyclables over the course of three hours! Well done, team, we applaud your efforts!

H&K Group, Inc.’s Safety Team is implementing a new “Safety Excellence Recognition Program,” which gives H&K the opportunity to recognize and thank employees who go above and beyond to promote a proactive safety culture and environment. Below are two of the first to be recognized for their efforts.

In April of 2025, operator Linsey W., from Haines & Kibblehouse, Inc. spotted an issue with a haul road in one of H&K’s quarries. Due to this issue, she decided to block the area off with her machine until the situation could be rectified. We commend Linsey for her situational awareness and for preventing a catastrophic event from happening in the quarry.

Also in April, Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc. shop foreman Dave M. led the team to an incredible 1,718 days (4 years & 8 months) since their last recordable OSHA incident. Dave’s leadership has been instrumental in not only ensuring the quality of work put out by the BGC Shop, but also the safety of all shop employees.

As a thanks, Linsey and Dave were both presented with a “Safety Excellence” hoodie and tumbler. We commend both Linsey and Dave for their efforts!

On Saturday, May 2nd, 11 volunteers from Blooming Glen Quarry (BGQ)/ Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc. (BGC) and friends and family participated in the annual Adopt-A-Highway cleanup of a two-mile stretch of Minsi Trail in Hilltown Township, Bucks County, PA. This marks the 30th year of participation from the BGQ/BGC team. The volunteers filled 29 bags with trash, car parts, signs and other debris. We would like to give a huge thanks to the BGQ/BGC Team for volunteering their time to clean up the Commonwealth! Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc. is proud to volunteer services to help Revivals Outreach Center and Kingdom Partners, Inc. in their mission to revitalize the Glassworks property in Perkasie, PA. Many volunteers and companies have come together to help rehabilitate the Glassworks property, which will help Revivals’ mission of providing food for the most vulnerable members of the community. Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc. was recently awarded the rehabilitation of Bergey’s Family of Dealership’s parking lot in Souderton, PA. The BGC, Inc. crews milled asphalt, graded the overall lot, installed new storm pipe and paved fresh blacktop. Our company and Bergey’s have a long-standing relationship as they have been the corporation’s Mack dealer since 2002.

Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc. has been hard at work making improvements at Quakertown Airport. The scope of work included the rehabilitation and expansion of the apron in front of the terminal, as well as the addition of a swale to direct water run-off away from the apron. As shown in these images, a BGC, Inc. paving team was completing placement of new blacktop on the expanded apron area.
