The Work
AgriVia PLLC is a small, growing engineering firm in Perry. We don't have a marketing department or a corporate ladder; we have a growing portfolio and a commitment to high-quality technical work serving Iowa’s farmers.
Our core business is Drainage District management and Water Quality engineering. We take immense pride in our work. We’re looking for someone who gets as much satisfaction from a cost-efficient design and report as they do from seeing a project successfully installed in the field. The Opportunity
We need a versatile team member (Engineer, Technician, Drafter, etc.) who is ready to dive in. Experience is a plus, but we will help train and guide the right person. If you have passion, curiosity, and pride in your work, those are more important to us than a long resume.
· Water Quality: Design and implementation of wetlands, saturated buffers, and bioreactors.
· Drainage Districts: Surveying, mapping, and report writing for district repairs and improvements.
· Expansion: If you have a passion for manure management, ag structural design, site work, or animal barns, we want you to bring that to the table. We are ready to support you in building out a service line you're passionate about.
Compensation & Growth
· Salary: Competitive base pay based on experience.
· Profit Sharing: We are looking for a long-term fit. After a one-year "fit" period, you can become eligible for quarterly profit-sharing of up to 20% for the right candidate.
· Benefits: 25 days of all-purpose PTO (includes holidays/sick/vacation).
· Note: We do not offer health insurance at this time, but we structure our compensation to allow you the flexibility to manage your own.
Who You Are
· You take pride in your work and your documentation.
· You want to know your bosses on a personal level.
· You are self-motivated and wish to lead your projects.
· You understand agriculture and can communicate with farmers and conservationists.
· You are comfortable in the field (conducting surveys) and in the office (drafting/reporting).
· You’re interested in the "new" challenges of ag engineering and conservation.
