Fun day yesterday with Roberson Wireline Inc. fishing some old equipment out of a well in Hansford County for a mutual customer. Doing preventative maintenance on your downhole equipment (not the case here) and tracking ever-changing conditions in your well can be a big cost-saver in the long run.

Here in western Oklahoma today. A customer called and wanted a fluid level analysis on two of their wells that they suspect had downhole issues. One of our customers recently acquired this well that was set to intermit and was only selling ~10mcf/day. We were able to identify an old bar stock plunger that needed to be pulled out and replaced with a new one. After the replacement, and some initial optimizing the gas sales have more than tripled, and we are now producing 2-3bbls of oil a day. We believe that when our customers succeed, we succeed. A company man called me recently to inquire about our contract pumping services. He explained that he hadn’t heard from the current pumper in weeks, hadn’t received production reports, production was way down and he was getting pressured by his superiors. 95% of our work today has come from situations just like this.
