As the sun was rising this morning, our employees were hard at work preparing a breakfast for our veterans at Missouri's National Veterans Memorial 🇺🇸

We are so blessed to live in the amazing community of Perryville and in the United States of America. As we watched our veterans stand together to say the Pledge of Allegiance at breakfast, we were reminded to pause and be grateful for the service and sacrifices so many brave men and women have made for the freedoms we enjoy every day. It was an honor to cook breakfast, shake hands, have conversations, and simply say “thank you” to those who have served our country.

To all veterans, we thank you for your courage, dedication, and sacrifice. Your service will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

If you are snowed in this week….CHECK YOUR FILTERS!!! Filters not only help clean your air but a dirty filter can cut down on your system’s efficiency and overwork your system. Check your filter regularly. And changing a filter isn’t very difficult but if you need any help determining which size filter you need contact us at 573-547-1150

Due to extreme snowfall and hazardous road conditions, our office is closed today. That said, we know emergencies sometimes can't wait. Our team will still be dispatching our technicians for EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY to support our customers as safely as possible.

A major snowstorm is on the way! A few quick steps now can help prevent frozen pipes, heating issues, and emergency calls during extreme cold:

✅ Clear snow from furnace vents: Blocked vents can shut systems down so check frequently after heavy snowfall and if snow drifts occur.

✅ During extreme cold conditions: Gas Regulators can be prone to freezing. Please ensure regulators remain clear of snow and ice at all times.

✅ Prevent frozen pipes: If you have exterior wall plumbing or live in a mobile home, let faucets drip slowly and keep open sink cabinets so you can check drains often to prevent backups.

✅ Heat pump users: While temps are below freezing with precipitation if you have a conventional heat pump system set your thermostat to “Emergency Heat Only” this does NOT apply to a Geothermal system.

👉 Please share this with a neighbor and be sure to check on elderly neighbors and mobile home owners during the storm.

Happy 75th Birthday to our founder, Larry Winkler! Today we celebrate not just a milestone birthday, but a man whose hard work, commitment to service, and heart have shaped who we are both as a family and as a company.

Forty-six years ago, Larry started Winkler Plumbing & Heating with determination, skills, and a dedication to serve people with quality and integrity. That belief is still the foundation of the company we’re proud to carry forward today.

But anyone who knows Larry knows his service didn’t stop with plumbing and heating. Larry has spent his life serving others:
• Volunteer firefighter, including search and rescue
• Wrecker truck driver at all hours of the day
• Army veteran who proudly served his country

Larry’s dedication to others both inside and outside of the business has inspired us. His work ethic pushed us forward. His commitment to service keeps us grounded. And his example continues to guide every job we do.

He is a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, and we are so grateful for the man behind our mission and the heart behind our name. Happy 75th Birthday, Larry!
