I went back out to this customer’s house and replace their very weak compressor capacitor and also their out of tolerance fan single run capacitor as well cleaning up the electrical panel area of their heat pump today for them . Cusotmer will be signing up on a maintenance plan with me this coming fall/winter . Here is what I found on my second no AC service call today , customer called and said that the system wasn’t cooling and that the outside heat pump wasn’t coming on. I found a swollen up 35/5/440 capacitor that was the culprit. I replaced the swollen capacitor with a new 35/5/440 capacitor and made sure the system was working and cooling properly before leaving the customer house.

Here is what I pulled out of the drain . Also after I cleaned out the clog the EZ trap float disengaged and the system came back on and started cooling again.
