On May 22, 2009, Jonathan built his first Custom Clubhouse for a Customer in Vail, CO (pictured below). Over the next 12 years we grew beyond what we could have imagined. Jonrie Designs was hired to build in other states, for celebrities, for a clothing line ad and even appeared in a dog food commercial. However, some of our favorites were the hundreds of kids smiles, warm hugs, kind words, friendships made and the occasional "beer tip" at the end of the long day.

In 2020 when the world seemed to be falling apart, our business boomed making it our busiest year yet. We gave discounts, hurdled through material shortages and ate into our profits so that kids were able to play outside while schools were shut down. It was a year of challenges but we came out on top.

All of this is being said to let our valued supporters know that the time has come. After many prayers and a whole lotta faith, Jonathan will be retiring from building his awesome custom clubhouses. We are hoping Brie will transition Jonrie Designs into other outdoor play options in the future but Jonathan will be hanging up his toolbelt & parking his trailer this month. Keep us close and watch out for Jonrie's next path. It has been an honor and a pleasure to work with, for & alongside your family through these past 12 years.
