To Cure A Rose Foundation was started with the mission of bringing genetic therapies to children like founder, Casey McPherson’s, daughter Rose. They have a path to create a novel antisense oligonucleotide (A*O) and gene therapy for children with HNRNPH2, opening up a second chance at life. Their work will help accelerate these exciting platforms across rare diseases as a whole.
For the next 30 days, every dollar you donate will be matched by Facet Life Sciences up to 10k. Help them reach their goal of $150k to cure a Rosie neuron.
Let’s do this! Our hope is that by doing our part, we will help offer a brighter future to all these children, one Rose at a time.
Announcement: Rose’s cells are being treated with the A*Os, that many of you funded, at Everlum Bio. Our first pass has some very promising results that I can’t wait to share soon!!! 🙂 When we cure a Rosie neuron, we likely will be able to rescue Rose before it’s too late. But the window of intervention is closing, and we need to move fast.
I think about her not throwing food every time she eats, or using the toilet, or not screaming in a grocery store, or keeping her ability to walk. Those are very real changes this drug could give her and all the other children that suffer from this disease.
But we need the funding to continue to a cure for this terrible disease. And today I announce a super hero donor that gets us there faster.
Ken and team at Facet Life Sciences are matching up to $10,000 in donations this month to our “Cure a Rosie Neuron Campaign” We are so grateful for Facet’s commitment to rare disease treatments, clincal trials, and to Rose. I look forward to our partnership with Facet and Everlum to help these children.
For the next 30 days, every dollar you donate will be doubled up to 10k. Help us reach our goal of $150k to cure a Rosie neuron. Let’s do this!
