Kingsbury is a leading provider of hydroelectric bearing solutions, with a legacy dating back to our first thrust bearing installation at the Holtwood Generating Plant on the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania, which remains in service today. We design, manufacture, repair, and upgrade fluid film thrust and guide bearings for hydroelectric generators worldwide. Our capabilities include high-pressure oil lift systems, bearing retrofits, engineering support, and large-diameter precision machining up to 144 inches in diameter and 30 tons.

After spending six weeks training with our team, Travis Chopyak is continuing his journey through the Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing (ATDM) program, where he will be focusing on welding. During his time with Kingsbury, Inc.® Travis gained valuable hands-on experience while working alongside our skilled employees.

A special thank you to Corby Croce for providing the facility tour and Joel Nester for helping make this training experience a success!
