On Zukunftstag (Future Day) the team at Kingsbury GmbH in Göttingen, Germany welcomed Linus Grewe, age 11, son of our colleague Jan Grewe, for a day of hands‑on exploration. Linus visited our departments, learned how things work, and saw engineering in action. He even had his name etched in steel as a keepsake from the experience!

We genuinely love seeing curiosity sparked early and helping inspire the engineers of tomorrow.

Bring Your Child to Work Day 2026 at Kingsbury gave Sadie Gallagher and Travis Chopyak a hands-on look at manufacturing at our Philadelphia location.

Pictured here with Kingsbury's star welder, Joe Kelly, whose skill and pride in his craft set the standard on our shop floor, Sadie & Travis explored the fundamentals of welding and saw firsthand what precision and experience look like in action.

Kingsbury, Inc. is very proud of Bruce Fabijonas, Research & Development Manager, and Jason Kurtz, Lead Corporate Technology Engineer, and their presentation "A Novel Application of a Legacy Fluid Film Bearing Design for Wind Turbine Systems" at the Drivetrain Reliability Collaborative Workshop at Argonne National Laboratory in Chicago this week.

The workshop brought together experts from industry, academia, and national labs to dig into bearing failures, condition monitoring, and drivetrain design. Many thanks to Argonne National Laboratory, and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for convening such a strong technical group.

Special thanks to Lou Krajewski, Matthew Marchione, Rich Rodzwic, Bob Morton, National Laboratory of the Rockies, National Offshore Wind Research & Development Consortium, Innovate UK, Tufts University, Gyrometric Systems Ltd, Leonardo Testing Services, Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, and the University of Nevada, Reno, for your collaboration!
