Kingsbury, Inc.®was honored to welcome Audrey Robertson, Assistant Secretary of Energy, Andrew Freigang, Special Advisor, U.S. Department of Energy; Rachael Overbey, Chief of Staff, Office of Critical and Emerging Materials and Innovation, from the DOE to Kingsbury today in Philadelphia.
During the visit, our team shared how more than a century of engineering innovation continues to support one of the nation's most reliable sources of renewable energy: hydropower.
The visit coincided with the Department of Energy's announcement that Kingsbury was selected as one of 14 hydropower projects to begin negotiations for support through the Hydropower Testing Network (HyTN). Working alongside Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Kingsbury is helping advance technologies that support the long-term reliability and performance of hydropower equipment.
Thank you to Assistant Secretary Robertson and the DOE team for visiting our facility and learning more about the engineering, manufacturing, and innovation that have helped power critical infrastructure for generations.
