We ran a dedicated 14/2 line and installed a new 15-amp breaker in the main panel. The line runs approximately 85 feet to a new junction box with an outlet inside. For the new washer, we used 1/2" conduit. We also extended the existing 10/2 wiring for the dryer from the basement, routed it through a junction box, and ran the 10/2 wire into a metal conduit, which rises about 6 feet to a new dryer outlet.
