A beautiful fall night in Philadelphia has us thinking this would be a pretty great place to spend the evening.

The Terrace at The Ritz-Carlton Residences brings outdoor living to the heart of Center City, with views of City Hall and Dilworth Park.

MJ Settelen Construction partnered with Coscia Moos Architecture to transform the existing terrace into an elevated outdoor amenity featuring a custom steel pergola, outdoor kitchen and bar, gas fire pits, new pavers, specialty lighting, and upgraded gathering areas.

The finished space gives residents a beautiful place to gather, dine, and unwind right in the heart of the city.

Not your average office build-out. 🍸🌊

When the team behind Stateside Vodka, Surfside ® Iced Teas + Lemonades + Super Lyte® creates a new Philadelphia headquarters, you know it’s going to have some personality.

Designed by Blackney Hayes, managed by owner’s representative TobinPeters, and built by MJ Settelen Construction, the new Stateside Brands HQ brings the company’s energy and identity into every corner of the space, from the curved surfboard-inspired bar and relaxed lounge anchored by two jumbotrons to the graffiti staircase by Glossblack, LLC and bold brand moments throughout.

A fun one to build, and an even better example of what can happen when brand, design and construction all come together.

What happens before demo begins?

Before construction starts in the field, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes.

A project kickoff brings our project management and field teams together to review the scope, schedule, site logistics, procurement, safety, and coordination needed before work gets underway.

Getting everyone together early and on the same page is an important part of starting a project off right.

A few members of the MJ Settelen Construction team had a great time at the 2026 BOMA Philadelphia TOBY Awards last night at The Union League of Philadelphia!

BOMA Philadelphia always knows how to put on a fun night, and the food, drinks, and beautiful setting at the The Union League of Philadelphia never disappoint.

At One Logan Square in Philadelphia, MJ Settelen Construction partnered with Hellyer Lewis Smith to deliver an 8,303 SF office renovation for a private financial services client.

The space balances openness with privacy, bringing together collaborative work areas, private offices, meeting spaces, and employee support areas.

Thoughtful millwork, lighting, finishes, and integrated workplace technology create a cohesive environment that feels refined, functional, and built around the people who use it.

We’re celebrating Natale Cutrona’s 2-year anniversary with MJ Settelen Construction!

As an Assistant Project Manager with 5 years of construction experience, Natale has contributed to projects including Stateside Brands HQ, WHYY Philadelphia HQ, Duane Morris Philadelphia HQ, Curtain Call Café, and Leo Restaurant & Bar.

One of her favorite parts of construction is seeing a project come to life, from drawings and planning to the finished space.

Her favorite project so far? Stateside Brands Philly HQ (Stateside Vodka), where the camaraderie and teamwork made the experience especially rewarding.

One lesson she’s learned along the way: “Never be afraid to ask a question.” Asking, confirming, and fully understanding before moving forward helps prevent mistakes and builds confidence.

Her coworkers describe her as a go-getter, determined, focused, dependable, and someone you want in your corner. 💪

Outside of work, you’ll likely find Natale at the beach, soaking up the sunshine and ending the day with dinner overlooking the sunset. 🌊☀️
