As part of the bipartisan infrastructure package, the government rolled out $5 billion to support the EV Charging infrastructure over the next five years.

Even though EV sales across the US continue to grow, the need for quality charging infrastructure is becoming more apparent by the day.

President administration also follows its obligations to switch the entire official fleet (roughly 600,000 cars) to electric vehicles by 2035.

There are 3 main charging levels when it comes to EV chargers. The higher the charging level, the faster your EV will charge since it receives more power at a time.

Hence, Level 1 charging is slower than Level 2.

Level 3 is broken into (Tesla) Supercharging and DC Fast Charging.

Most electric vehicles are perfectly suitable for Level 2 chargers. They could fully charge a vehicle in 3-8 hours on average.

Using DC fast chargers, many EVs can get an 80% charge in about an hour.

PURA (Public Utilities Regulatory Authorities) launched a statewide EV Charging rebate program on 1/1/22. Its goal is to provide homes and businesses with incentives for installing EV chargers.

Following our great success with Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) Electric Vehicle Charging Program in New Jersey, US Energy Solutions is expanding into the Atlantic City Electric utility service territory.

It’s no secret that southeastern NJ still lacks DC Fast Chargers. The plan is to install at least one such charger within every 25 miles of driving range. These also need to be located within 1 mile of an exit to a major corridor.

While helping achieve this ambitious goal is our primary objective, we will continue installing L2 chargers in public parking lots, workplaces, and multi-unit properties along the way.
