What an honor it was to have open heart surgery at Penn Medicine inside the newly built Pavillion (Penn First) built by my Union Brother/Sister OE's & all the other Union Trades.

And then I had the pleasure & enjoyment of a private room with a view to watch my OE Brothers work at CHOP during the day. One of them Brothers, Tom McKeown Jr., was my partner about 8 years ago

Guardian Nurse Eileen came to see me twice. She came to multiple pre-surgery appointments with me & I believe it really helps to keep the medical staff on their toes.

Lastly, but not least, the OG shout out of all goes to my long time Friend, Union Brother & Brother in Arms Wendell Yarde (Trix).
He came to see me twice in the hospital and then yesterday drove my visiting daughter's family from Los Angeles to the Philly Airport from Bernville to give my wife a break from driving on the snowy roads. Wendell is a true Brother in so many ways to me and I'm so proud he is on the Executive Board. 🇺🇲
