U.S. 1 RC2: Safer, Smoother, Sooner.

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)’s $111M RC2 Section spans five miles of the busy U.S. 1 Corridor, carrying 90,000+ vehicles daily. As the Construction Management Consultant, Urban helped deliver the project a full year ahead of schedule, boosting safety, capacity, and mobility.

Did you know the 120-year-old New Hope-Lambertville Bridge, a six-span pin-connected Pratt Truss extending 1,050 feet across the Delaware River, has been transformed into a safe, efficient, multimodal bridge after the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC) commissioned its rehabilitation?

Urban provided CMCI for this landmark project, overcoming sensitive challenges with the project team along the way.

More than 30 years after beginning his Urban career as a construction inspector on the New Jersey Turnpike, James A. Bilella, II, PE, is taking on another leadership role with the firm: member of Urban’s Board of Directors.
