STEM summer camp is off to a thrilling start! Students dove into the exciting world of healthcare at Immaculata University and gained hands-on experience through anatomy lessons, lab experiments, and interactions with nursing dummies in real-world scenarios. Then, they received a tour of Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital's operating room, met with recruitment and staff, and visited their nursing simulation center before wrapping up the day at Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute, where they received hands-on basic lifesaving skills.

This is what 4 years of commitment looks like.

Two of our Career Connection Academy students from Coatesville Area School District are graduating this spring and heading off to pursue Nursing at 4-year colleges, and it has been amazing to watch their journey.

From learning AED and First Aid and suturing, to exploring mental health, pediatrics, forensics, and even observing live surgeries, they took advantage of every opportunity. They stepped into real-world environments through visits to Subaru Park, Einstein Medical Center Simulation Lab, and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

What stands out most is their leadership, giving back by teaching 3rd graders about healthcare careers and growing into mentors themselves.

This is exactly why we do this work. Wishing you both nothing but success in your nursing journeys. The future of healthcare is bright.
