This is what 4 years of commitment looks like.

Two of our Career Connection Academy students from Coatesville Area School District are graduating this spring and heading off to pursue Nursing at 4-year colleges, and it has been amazing to watch their journey.

From learning AED and First Aid and suturing, to exploring mental health, pediatrics, forensics, and even observing live surgeries, they took advantage of every opportunity. They stepped into real-world environments through visits to Subaru Park, Einstein Medical Center Simulation Lab, and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

What stands out most is their leadership, giving back by teaching 3rd graders about healthcare careers and growing into mentors themselves.

This is exactly why we do this work. Wishing you both nothing but success in your nursing journeys. The future of healthcare is bright.

We are CPR certified! We spent Day 5 of the medical excursion camp at the Chester County Public Safety Training Campus. Students learned CPR, choking prevention, and discovered how substances can impair the senses. We finished the day with an exciting relay race where students had to put their CPR, AED training, and choking prevention skills to the test.

We stepped into the wild during day 4 of our medical excursion camp at ! Students received a behind-the-scenes tour of Elmwood’s medical facilities and commissary. We wrapped up our day with a presentation on career pathways in animal science and wildlife care.
