Laborer needed to work around heavy equipment, installing culverts, run wacker packer, and other necessary groundwork. Pay dependent on work ethic and accountability. Lots of room to grow in this position. Most hard workers eventually train to run equipment or drive truck.

Stokes Construction, a company based in Philomath, is seeking an experienced and safety-driven log truck driver for full-time work. Applicants will be required to take a pre-employment drug-test.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-minimum of 2 years verifiable driving experience. Mule train experience is preferred
-current class A commercial driver's license
-current medical card
-driving record must be provided at the time of interview--must be both personal and employment record. Must also include ALL states in which you have had a driver's license in the last 3 years

DUTIES:
-drive a log truck to transport logs from forests to mills
-fill out daily driver logs in accordance with ODOT regulations
-maintain accurate trip records
-apply loading and unloading procedures
-follow safety procedures
-work as a team player
-other duties assigned

Hourly compensation to be negotiated depending on experience. We offer our benefits after 2 months of full-time employment.

We are seeking an experienced operator to fill a full-time position in a busy company based in Philomath. Our primary business is building logging roads, therefore experience in running heavy equipment is preferred (excavator, backhoe, brush cutter, dozer, etc.).
Candidate should be safety conscious, a team player and have the ability to learn. A pre-employment drug test is required.
Pay dependent on experience.
