Pete King Construction is a drywall commercial company that is currently hiring framers to join their team.

LOOKING FOR DEDICATED PEOPLE TO ADD TO OUR METAL STUD FRAMING DIVISION!

Seeking all levels of experience from beginner to advance for full time position (40hrs with possible overtime). Entry level positions will start at $17.00. Advanced skill level rates will be assessed in the field and open to negotiation.

Pete king offers in house safety/fall protection training, equipment training, certification cards and weekly pay via direct deposit. Long term employment offers health/dental insurance, life insurance, sick pay, and MATCHING 401k benefits!

Employees are expected to frame walls, soffits, ceilings, set metal door frames, as well as install several misc. specialty systems. Equipment use varies from ladders, work benches, scissor lifts, and aluminum scaffolding. Some personal tools are required.
Our sites are located all over the valley so have TRANSPORTATION.

We are a commercial drywall company currently hiring Driver or laborer to transport material and scraps in a safe and timely manner. Driver responsibilities include arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions and delivering materials. Ultimately, you will help maintain the warehouse of the company, and our trade workers will depend on us for their transportation materials. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. Note that we provide drivers with our own vehicles.

Responsibilities

Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
Assist construction workers with loading and unloading the material
Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues
Run errands for the warehouse
Skills

Proven experience as a Driver
A valid driver’s license
A clean driving record
Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods or google maps
Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
A polite and professional disposition
Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
Benefits with the company Overtime most weeks which is great for the paycheck Have plenty of opportunities for growth: We are looking for a non cdl driver at this time, but if you learn the ropes and are a good employee we will pay for training and your CDL if that’s something you’re interested in.

If you have no experience in a trade but would like to make a career out of it, being a laborer is a great way to get your foot in the foot.

Drywall Hanger: Continuously moves 12’x4’ sheets of wallboard each weighing over 100 pounds from stack, mounts scaffolding or ladder and nails or screws wallboard onto walls and/or ceilings. Usually works with another employee.

Responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations at a construction site. Their duties include loading and unloading tools or raw materials, assembling scaffolding or other pieces of equipment and digging or filling in pits throughout the construction process. Continuously moves scrap wallboard and other waste materials from work site to dump truck. Must have transportation. Would have to fuel up company vehicles, delivery and pick up materials, cleaning scissors lifts and help out mechanics in the shop!
