Victoria moderated the “Indigenous Women in Construction” panel, and it was an honor to watch her guide such a meaningful and honest discussion.

She was joined by a powerhouse group of industry leaders, and we want to extend a sincere thank you to the panelists who brought their expertise to the conversation: Kammy Harding-Crumbo, Development Manager at AES Clean Energy, Kaya Orona, Preconstruction Manager at The PENTA Building Group, Aurelia Yazzie, Superintendent at Willmeng, and Shandiin Yessilth, Project Manager at Wenaha Group.

The session provided a real-world look at establishing leadership roles in the construction sector. The panel shared valuable insights on navigating project development on Tribal lands, building up the workforce, and fostering economic development across Indigenous communities.

What an honor to build such an incredible project.
The Mesa Gateway Library stands as the 2026 Public Library of the Year by IFLA and James Bennett, recognized among entries from nine countries. Our team worked hand-in-hand with the City of Mesa, Arizona Government, Richärd Kennedy Architects, and our trade partners to make this visionary space a reality.

Delivering this 28,000 SF project and returning over $600K in value engineering savings back to the city made the achievement even more rewarding. We’re beyond proud to see this local landmark recognized on the global stage.

Wherever we are, these words always ring true: “Willmeng exists for people to build their genuine place of purpose.”

You can see that reflected in our Utah office, where Willmeng has spent the past five years building relationships, delivering projects, and growing alongside the communities we serve.

Take a look inside the space our Utah team calls home and the place that continues to support what’s ahead.

Building a great workplace culture isn’t something that happens by accident. It is built every day through shared purpose, trust, and a people-centric environment where every team member is empowered to grow.

We are deeply honored to be recognized among Arizona’s Most Admired Companies of 2026 and to receive the Spotlight Award for Workplace Culture!

Presented by BestCompaniesAZ and AZ BIG Media, this statewide program evaluates organizations across five core pillars: Leadership Excellence, Workplace Culture, Corporate and Social Responsibility, Customer Opinion, and Innovation.

To be highlighted specifically as the Spotlight Winner for Workplace Culture is a milestone that belongs entirely to our 500-plus employee-owners. As an ESOP, our culture is defined by investing in employee wellness, devoting time and resources to future career development, and supporting one another on every job site and in every office.

We are grateful to the selection committee, proud of our team, and humbled to share this recognition alongside so many outstanding Arizona organizations. A special shoutout to Kari McCormick, Valerie Kelly, and Darryn Jones for attending and representing Willmeng at the event!

A well-deserved honor for an extraordinary community leader!

Huge congratulations to Shannon Clancy, CEO at The Society of St Vincent De Paul, for being named Nonprofit Executive of the Year at the Phoenix Business Journal’s Corporate Philanthropy Awards!

From providing millions of meals to expanding vital medical, dental, and housing support across Arizona, Shannon’s compassionate leadership and vision of "Let None be Lost" inspire everyone around her.

Our partnership with St. Vincent de Paul goes way beyond the job site. We’ve loved volunteering alongside their team and supporting their work over the years, so delivering spaces like the new East Valley Medical Clinic is just a bonus. Shannon leads with so much heart, and we’re excited to continue working alongside her to support what SVdP does for Arizona.

Thank you, Shannon, for your tireless work to feed, clothe, house, and heal our community!

What once served as a thrift store giving new life to old items has now taken on a transformative life of its own. On October 7th, Arizona’s most influential community leaders, healthcare partners, and educators gathered in Mesa to officially dedicate the new St. Vincent de Paul East Valley Medical Clinic, with Willmeng serving as the general contractor.

The project renovated the building down to its shell to transform the space into 18 new exam rooms and expanded facilities, creating a primary clinical teaching site where students and residents from Creighton University, Arizona State University, and Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine will learn alongside experienced clinicians. As Mayo Clinic CEO Dr. Richard Gray shared during the dedication, "When all people bring their gifts together in service to others, it is truly inspiring."
Emphasizing the importance of community-driven action to address regional healthcare needs, ASU President Dr. Michael Crow shared during the ceremony, "It's incumbent upon us to not wait for the government to solve this or to solve that. It's incumbent upon us to figure out how we're going to solve it. St. Vincent de Paul is the kind of organization that steps up and makes things happen."

Reflecting on the incredible collective effort behind this milestone, Willmeng Senior Vice President Chris Brown shared, "A project like this takes a lot of people pulling in the same direction. You can always spot the high performers in a community by the transformative projects they deliver with the greater community in mind, and that is exactly what is happening here. Standing behind St. Vincent de Paul are Mayo Clinic, ASU, and Creighton University, and we are grateful for that partnership."

For Willmeng, being part of a project that changes lives in such a meaningful way is an honor that goes far beyond construction, true to our mission of Building a Genuine Place of Purpose. To help St. Vincent de Paul welcome and care for their very first patients, Willmeng was grateful for the opportunity to present a $200,000 check during the ceremony in support of their ongoing mission. James Murphy CEO, stated, “Working closely with St. Vincent de Paul across consecutive projects, our team has witnessed firsthand their unmatched devotion to the community. They pour their hearts into their mission and we are deeply honored to be a part of the difference they make in the community.”

A special thank you to St. Vincent de Paul leadership Shannon Clancy, Steve Gervais, Dr. John Anwar, and the entire team for trusting us with your mission. Thank you to Vehr/Webb Studio Architects & Artists for a design that made this building work in a whole new way, the City of Mesa, Arizona Government and Salt River Project for helping us open the doors, the generous donor who helped make this project possible, and our incredible trade partners who delivered on an ambitious timeline.

Progress is moving fast in Phoenix.

We are proud to partner with Formation on an exciting ground-up development bringing four new spec industrial warehouse buildings to the Phoenix market.
The project transformed the site by clearing eight existing structures to make way for 428,000 SF of modern tilt-up space featuring 32' clear heights, positioned just 15 minutes from major tech hubs like TSMC.

Collaborating with the team at Formation has been a fantastic experience from day one. Our crews are hard at work putting the finishing touches on site as we wrap up the final phases of construction.
Stay tuned for the final reveal!

Safer buildings start with shared understanding.

The Arizona Building Officials (AZBO) Fall Institute brought together 798 attendees representing dozens of jurisdictions from across the state for four days of continuing education and collaboration. Building officials, contractors, engineers, consultants, and design professionals gathered to improve consistency in code interpretation and application, helping create safer buildings and stronger communities across Arizona.

We were proud to support this important event, and our team loved catching up with our friends from the City of Phoenix, including Mike Ornoski, Team Leader in the Planning & Development Department and an AZBO course instructor. Mike shared how encouraged he is by the expanding engagement in AZBO from general contractors like Willmeng, subcontractors, and designers coming together to connect and learn alongside building officials.

Thank you to AZBO and all the dedicated professionals working together to strengthen our industry across Arizona!
