Solar Myth vs Truth for Homeowners ☀️⚡

One of the biggest questions I get from homeowners is this:

“If the power goes out… will my solar still run my home?”

Here’s the truth 👇

Most solar systems shut off during a power outage.

Even if the sun is shining, your system is connected to the grid, and for safety reasons it automatically turns off when the grid goes down. This protects utility workers who may be repairing lines.

So what keeps your home powered when the lights go out?

You need a backup source 👇

Option 1: Solar + Battery 🔋
This is the most popular solution today. Batteries store your solar energy and can power your home when the grid is down. Your home can stay running on stored energy and even recharge from the sun during the day.

Option 2: Solar + Generator ⚙️
A generator can kick on during an outage and keep essential items running.

Option 3: Advanced Inverter Systems ⚡
