Peak shipping season is quickly approaching, and we want to make sure your facility is prepared before your operation reaches its busiest time of the year.
Now is the time to schedule your preventive maintenance (PM).
Preventive maintenance is one of the best ways to identify worn components, developing failures, safety concerns, and other repairs before they become an unexpected breakdown during peak season. Completing your PM ahead of time gives our technicians the opportunity to identify potential problems, provide recommendations, and complete necessary repairs while your operation has more flexibility.
We strongly recommend that all preventive maintenance and recommended repairs be completed before your peak shipping season begins.
Peak Season Emergency Service Policy
During peak season, emergency service calls can place significant demands on our technicians and require us to prioritize customers experiencing critical equipment failures.
Therefore, for emergency or unscheduled service requested during peak season, the following payment requirements will apply:
- A $590.00 minimum service charge will be required. Labor, Mileage, and consumables are added to the required payment.
- The applicable minimum payment must be paid the same day, prior to or at the time service is performed.
- Any additional labor, parts, or other charges exceeding the initial minimum may be invoiced under your normal payment terms, where applicable.
- Emergency service performed during peak season due to deferred or incomplete preventive maintenance will not qualify for normal Net payment terms for the initial required service minimum.
Our goal is not to make emergency service difficult. Our goal is to encourage every customer to address potential problems before they become emergency situations.
A conveyor or facility failure during peak season can result in downtime, missed shipments, production delays, and significant operational costs. A scheduled PM is almost always easier and more cost-effective than trying to repair equipment after it has failed during your busiest time of the year.
Please contact TruGrit Mechanical as soon as possible to schedule your preventive maintenance and ensure your equipment is ready for peak season.
We appreciate your business and look forward to helping keep your operation running safely, efficiently, and reliably throughout the busy season.
