Another custom sign finished and ready to go!
This custom “Bluffview Inn Lake House – Clearwater Lake” sign was cut from steel and finished in black, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. This one has a great lake-house feel and should look awesome on display.

Something BIG is coming to Prometheus Fabrication & Machining. 🔥

We’re building a new kind of website featuring SOFIA — Synthetic Omni-Functional Artificial Intelligence.

This isn’t just another website.
And Sofia isn’t just another chatbot.

Soon, you won’t have to show up with everything already figured out.

If you already have a finished drawing, CAD file, DXF, or 3D model — great.

But if you don’t?
That’s the game changer.

You’ll be able to simply describe what you want.

Have an idea in your head?
A rough sketch on paper?
A picture you found online?
A part that needs to be recreated?
A project you can describe but don’t know how to design?

Sofia is being built to help take that idea and guide you through turning it into something real.

She’ll help customers:

- describe their project,
- organize their ideas,
- upload photos, sketches, and files,
- work through options,
- move toward a quote,
- and eventually place an order directly through the Prometheus website.

That means you won’t need to know all the technical terms or have a perfect plan before getting started.

Just bring the idea.

Whether it’s laser cutting, CNC machining, custom fabrication, signs, wall art, prototypes, or one-of-a-kind custom projects, Sofia is being built to help bridge the gap between “I’ve got an idea” and “let’s make it real.”

This is going to be a major step forward not just for Prometheus, but for how custom manufacturing can work for everyday customers.

We’re still building and testing it now — but it’s coming.

Just a few final touch-ups left on this custom lighted sign for Mustang Sally’s here in Piedmont. It’ll be heading to its new home Tuesday, and we’re looking forward to seeing it installed and lit up where it belongs!

We’re really happy with how it turned out. Now we’re just waiting on the LED lighting, which should be here any day. Once the lights are installed, this one is really going to come to life!

We're excited to begin development of our own billet aluminum Hayabusa cylinder blocks, engineered for racers who demand strength, precision, and reliability.
Why billet?
✅ CNC-machined from a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum rather than cast. ✅ Significantly increased rigidity helps maintain cylinder geometry under extreme cylinder pressure. ✅ Designed to handle high boost, big nitrous, and high-RPM racing applications where factory cast blocks begin to reach their limits. ✅ Available with either ductile iron sleeves or Nickel Silicon Carbide (Nikasil) coated bores depending on the application. �

Shop update: 5 down, 5 to go. These custom Louisiana-themed fire pit rings are cut and ready to be rolled and coated with high-temperature paint. Once finished, they'll be heading south to Louisiana with our LED trailer delivery.
