Blue Diamond Steel Casting has an immediate opening for a 1st shift Metal Fabricator/Construction position.

Compensation:
$21 - $28 per hour, based on experience, plus benefits listed below

Summary:
Safely perform day-to-day operations to fabricate and repair both new and used foundry equipment

Duties and responsibilities:
• Welding, cutting, fitting, installation, and removal of equipment
• Identify, troubleshoot, and maintain faulty equipment such as augers, elevators, and conveyors
• Perform preventative maintenance according to the Preventative Maintenance Program
• Safely operate mobile equipment, manlifts, cranes, and power and hand tools
• Lifting & climbing
• Perform quality work with or without direct supervision
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Display a positive attitude toward safety and coworkers
• Use a computer to obtain and input information

Requirements:
High School Diploma / G.E.D. or minimum of 1 year of previous experience in metal fabrication

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, high places, dust and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
