The positive outreach and supportive messages we have received from all our hard working men and women of our company the last couple days means the world to us. We will fight for you as you fight for us. Its unfortunate that although these few men were paid their wages that they continue to refuse to leave the train tracks for their own personal gain at the risk of so many of our wonderful employees. We don't hide behind the fact that its tough in the coal markets today, but we are fighters. We pray for better times, yet we will fight to continue to provide jobs in eastern Kentucky. We have always paid everything we ever owe our employees and will continue to do so. There has been times when pay has been delayed, but we have always paid. Very prideful of the outpouring of support from them all - we look forward to being a large employer in the region for all of them for years to come!

We are looking for Contract Miners for new metallurgical deep mines in Pike County KY as well as Contract Miners for two new surface jobs (contour and high wall miners).

We are willing to pay on a clean ton basis with escalators should the market improve and will escrow capital for guarantee of payment on a weekly basis.

All mines will have a minimum production requirement and with no maximum production limits.

All coal is already sold.

We want producers that produce in safe and efficient way that focus on running clean jobs the right way.

Quest Energy is excited to announce that it is finishing up the expansion project at its Carnegie #1 underground mine in Kimper, KY (Pike County). The company has all the equipment lined up and is now accepting job applications for all underground mining positions and leadership roles at the mine. The Carnegie #1 mine is a key mine for the company with all coal being brought to our McCoy Elkhorn processing plant a few miles down the road.

American Resources Corporation and Quest Energy are seeking a Director of Coal Sales & Marketing, who will be tasked with providing overall development of the company’s coal sales and marketing strategies and identification of growth opportunities for the company. The position will report directly to the company’s executive team, along with providing regular detailed sales analysis and reports for the parent company’s Board of Directors.

The position will be required to operate in a uniform standard to the company’s profit maximization and sales objective and will be responsible for identifying market opportunities within the company's capabilities, monitor market trends and competitive activities, and manage overall coal sales for the company.

Duties will include:
1. Marketing and maximizing the sales of coal produced from all subsidiaries of the company to both domestic and international customers.
2. Developing new marketing strategies and new customers as the company expands to new mines and new operations.
3. Provide industry insight and trends to allow the company to maximize its shareholder value.
4. Initial focus on marketing various Central Appalachian coal qualities, including metallurgical, high-grade thermal, PCI, and industrial.
5. Assist management with various coal production and sales reporting.

This position requires over ten years of experience in a similar sales role with either an international or domestic coal company. This position is a full-time position and the prospective employee must not have any other conflicts that would prevent them from fulfilling their work obligations and duties for the company. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will include the possibility of participation in the company’s employee stock option plan.
