Frameless shower door installation. This one was a little bit odd because the door kit the client ordered was not compatible with the shower on site. They really wanted to use that particular kit so after a lot of discussion I agreed to do some modifications to make it work. It actually turned out pretty good! Here is a before and after picture. I'm glad I get to share this one with you all.

In the effort of transparency: I do not yet have my electrical license (I have completed the required on-job hours, as well as a four-year nationally accredited program through NCCER at SCC).I am currently working towards finding someone who will sign off to let me take the test in Raleigh to get my NC electrical license.

For this particular project, I am helping as a friend. I have not been hired in any official way since I lack licensing credentials. The homeowner is acting as GC on the permit.

Okay, now that's out of the way, lol, I can get to the project scope. 150' underground electrical run to get power from the house main panel to the new 'tiny home' in the backyard. I know we live in the Sandhills so digging isn't horrible, but 150' at 18" deep warranted a ditch witch rental in my opinion lol. The trench was dug, inspected, and approved. The conduit was laid out, the wires were pulled, ground rods were installed at the structure, and again, inspected and approved.

That's where I am currently on this larger (for me) electrical project. I'll update as things move along. Thanks for checking it out!

Some spring staining! The client had a small deck. stairs. and some landscape timbers that needed staining or re-staining. Some of the landscape timbers needed replacement due to age. The deck and stairs were soft-washed and a solid stain went on everything. As mentioned. some timbers were too far qone victims of rot/decay) and were replaced with ground-contact-rated lumber. The color was a big change, but the client and I were happy with the results! As usual, before and after photos are included,.

Quick rebuild of a convertible bench/table. The plastic legs and mechanism were in good condition; everything else, not so much, ha. Before and after pictures.

Barn room renovation for a client. Removed existing paneling down to the wall studs, as you can tell from the photo it was very flimsy material that was not properly installed to begin with. Went back in with LP Smartside engineered panels. Also cleaned up a couple other messes that were previously done. Pretty big difference in quality and aesthetics!

A client had some vintage car hood ornaments (Cadillac & Ford) and asked me to build a couple of wooden display stands to mount them on. I love the results with this wood for any project but these turned out really special. Here’s some pictures from start to finish. Thanks for checking it out!

Thank you to all past, current and future clients! I’ve been voted a Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorite for 2025! This will be the third consecutive year (also received in 2021 but missed it in 2022). I am beyond appreciative of not just this award, but of all the amazing clients met and projects you’ve given me the opportunity to do over the last 7 years.

Another garage door opener replacement. This one was original to the house from 1988! It also did not have any safety sensors. Replaced with a new belt drive opener complete with sensors and wiring.

I want to start sharing some past projects for any new neighbors here. While I do have a couple of focused specialty skill sets, I also do have a wide work scope. Of course if there’s something im not 100% confident in doing, I will always let you know. Practice makes perfect, but I’m not going to practice on your house lol.

I’m hopeful that sharing some past projects will help bring the community up to date with the work that I do. I’ll be doing a few of these type posts.

Starting off with a few landscape lighting projects. It’s not all of them but enough examples to give an idea. And yes, the landscape lighting is the only exterior lighting on in the pictures. Thanks for checking it out!
