This marks our 60th year in business.

While celebrating this milestone, we’ve been reflecting on our roots.

In 1966, our founder, Bill Wilson, opened a small tool shop focused on tight-tolerance injection molds. He quickly saw that the best way to accelerate the expansion of his company was to look beyond just tool making. By the early 1970s, he began investing heavily in injection molding machinery, laying the foundation for what Montrose has become today.

Over the decades, Bill led with a quiet, rugged style — focused on hard work, accountability, and building a place where people genuinely enjoyed showing up every day. He built more than a company — he built a culture and a legacy that has impacted thousands of employees, customers, and partners.

As we celebrate 60 years, we’re proud to carry that legacy forward.

The tools may be more advanced. The technology has evolved. The industry continues to change - but the core principles Bill built this company on remain the same: Do the work right the first time. Take care of your customers. Take care of your people.

Today’s project is a battery charging station assembly. We produce the components from two different molds in PC/ABS, then adhere the components with a custom epoxy specially formulated for this material.

We can produce nearly 800 per day, just one of the several critical battery-related items that we produce for an industry that is growing in importance in our country.
