We won the shining star award! (A district-local version of a volunteer award!)
Mx. Traub, our lead mentor and teacher, was one of the Woodie Flowers Finalists going on to compete at district champs! (So really, Alexis's essay writing skills won an award too!)
We ran a snack bar, a machine shop, AND our own pit and robot during comp! We lowball estimate we helped with roughly 80 different fixes over the course of the 2.5 days.
We also set up AND tore down the field!.we are tired!

Sacramento competition was intense! We smoked our 2nd pdh (power distribution hub), tore apart all of our mechanisms, putted intake back on, tested intake in real competition (and bent it!), blue bumper #3 had some issue and we popped it off at one point in competition...and we made it a gif!
We learned A LOT and are very thankful for all those teams that helped!
Now we retool, apply those lessons, and try to kick butt at OUR HOSTED EVENT on April 2-4, 2026. Two weeks to go!
