My breast cancer journey has been incredibly scary and, at times, overwhelming. I am fortunate to have so much support around me, and I'm honored to work for a company that truly puts the patient first.
As a dental hygienist, I understood the oral side effects that can come with cancer treatment. I knew that dry mouth, mouth sores, oral mucositis, and sensitivity could make an already difficult journey even harder.
But now, I understand it from an entirely different perspective; as a patient.
During chemotherapy, I've been fortunate to experience only mild dry mouth and oral discomfort. I attribute much of that to consistently using Periovance Dry Mouth Gel throughout my chemotherapy appointments and every night before bed.
