Field Robotics Center

Field Robotics Center The Field Robotics Center is part of the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. Our miss

Founded in 1983, FRC's vision is to design and build robots that could meet the rigors of the field – uncontrolled environments where robots must be rugged, smart, and fully capable of the task at hand. These robots would do the work that was too dull, dirty, or dangerous for people or make people’s lives less dull and dangerous. Today, FRC continues to live up to its vision by creating robots tha

t can do things like drive and fly autonomously, go to the moon, scour the insides of volcanoes, and improve the lives of people in underserved communities.

Happy Holidays! From all of us and the robots 😁 🤖🎄
