Big news for small shipyards: Congratulations to the recipients of Maritime Administration - MARAD's 2026 Small Shipyard Grant Program, which will fund projects at 45 shipyards across 24 states. The grants, totaling $35.18 million, will be used for various equipment, infrastructure, and training opportunities to help support increased productivity and competitiveness at small U.S. shipyards. Kudos to the awardees!

The first vessel in a 13-tug series has been delivered to Gulf LNG Services. The Laguna Gulf, a tractor tug equipped for ship-assist and terminal-support operations, was designed by Robert Allan Ltd. and built by Sterling Shipyard. Congrats to all involved.
