Off-road autonomy demands more than perception and compute.

Reliable autonomous operations start with safe, deterministic vehicle control. Our drive-by-wire architecture bridges the gap between autonomy software and real-world vehicle actuation with redundant safety systems, failsafe braking, and safety-rated hardware designed specifically for rugged off-road environments.

Our system stands out for a few key reasons:

- Vehicle agnostic, COTS & custom

- Full control of steering, braking, throttle, transmission, and transfer case

- Redundant safety systems utilizing highly SIL-rated hardware and failsafe braking strategies

- Proven at scale: currently deployed across 27 vehicle platforms

- Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS): built to support BLOS operational architectures for extended-range vehicle operation.

We are getting ready to head to UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh today, and in preparation, we made this fun little video to entertain the kids.

Looking forward to it!

From mining and construction to defense and agriculture, autonomous systems only deliver value when the hardware can survive the environments they’re deployed into. That’s why ruggedization is engineered into every layer of our platforms.

Built to see the world. Built to survive it.

Autonomous systems are only as accurate as the data they rely on. Even the most advanced perception stack can suffer from reduced performance if cameras are not properly calibrated.

Whether you're deploying stereo perception systems, machine vision cameras, or multi-sensor autonomy stacks, precise calibration helps ensure your system performs reliably in the field.

What a camera sees is only part of the story.

The top stream shows standard color imagery captured by the MultiSense™ S30 stereo camera. The bottom visualization shows disparity, which is depth information generated from stereo perception.

That depth data helps autonomous systems better understand distance, structure, terrain, and object positioning in real-world environments.

It’s a good reminder that perception is about more than simply seeing. It’s about understanding spatial relationships in a way machines can act on reliably.

The work we do may be challenging, but we never said we don't have a good time with it.

Our test team loves getting out in the field. Laundry day, though? Not so much...

We talk a lot about off-road autonomy, but that doesn't always mean dust, mud, and rocks. You can also find us out on the water, like on the self-docking boat in the video below.
