· Hiring flatbed trucks direct, bypassing conventional brokers

Responsibilities include:

Load, unload trucks and move materials within the warehouse and plant.
Examine goods to be shipped and verify completeness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and other records.
Route incoming shipments/goods to respective departments.
Count and compare quantity and identification numbers of units against the order.
Read work order or follows oral instructions
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or forklift
Prepare products for shipment
Prepare identifying information/ shipping instructions on containers
Pulls stock orders
Perform monthly inventory count cycles
The qualified candidate will have the following knowledge and skills:

· High school diploma

· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

· Ability to safely operate forklift and overhead crane

· Satisfactory completion of a drug screening is required

• Build wooden shipping boxes and crates by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed
• Cutting, shaping and smoothing lumber according to measurements
• Read work order or follows oral instructions
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or fork lift
• Prepare products for shipment
• Prepare identifying information/ shipping instructions on containers
• Perform monthly inventory count cycles
• Check work for accuracy and quality.

The qualified candidate will have the following knowledge and skills:
• High school diploma
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
