Even when it was raining last week, we still brought out the crane! Remember those “Ain’t Skeered” stickers that were on so many trucks in the 90’s?

10,000 diapers delivered today. ❤️

This is exactly why we created our 50% Mission: to give 50% of the profits from our HVAC division to help children in need.

Today we were honored to support the Junior League of Fort Worth and the incredible work they do for families throughout the community.

Fort Worth is also special to our family. It has always been one of our favorite places, and it became even more meaningful when our son Hank was born there. Being able to give back to families in this community means a lot to us personally.

Most importantly, thank you to our hard working technicians and team. You are the ones taking care of customers every day and making opportunities like this possible. Every donation through our 50% Mission starts with your hard work.

We’re grateful to be able to help — and we’re just getting started. Junior League of Fort Worth

New HVAC installations are hard work, so some companies assign them to less experienced technicians. We don’t.

To start, we use experienced installers, them every job is assigned a project manager, and then quality controlled by the install manager. Our labor may cost more, but when you’re making a major investment in your home, it needs to be done right.

As a nearly 50 year old company, Smith Thompson understands how to get & keep customers with service.

Plus, 50% of our profits at the end of the year are given to charities that help children in need.

The Smith Thompson HVAC division made a commitment to give away 50% of our profits to help kids in need.

The truth is, there wasn't much to give in 2024 or 2025 because of the high initial investment needed to scale up. We were busy building our HVAC division from the ground up, hiring great people, and investing in the future. Today, our DFW HVAC team has grown to 15 people, and we're finally beginning to see that vision become reality.

After every employee is paid, every vendor is taken care of, and every bill is covered... whatever profit remains isn't really ours anyway. It's God's. We simply have the privilege of deciding where it can make the biggest difference.

This week, that meant purchasing 100 backpacks for local students through the Fill the Bus school supply drive.

Every child deserves to walk into the first day of school feeling prepared and confident. We're grateful to play a small part in making that happen.

Thank you to every customer who trusts Smith Thompson. When you choose us, you're helping us do things like this for our community.

Moved HVAC units with a crane on this job in Dallas. Not because we needed to…just because it looked cool. (We actually needed to. A lot.)
