The best liner repair is often the one you catch before it becomes a major problem.

COMANCO recently completed another quarterly geomembrane inspection and repair project at an active precious metals mine in the Western United States.

Our crew inspected multiple lined containment ponds, identified repair needs, and completed targeted repairs to help maintain the integrity of critical mining containment systems.

This customer has trusted COMANCO with recurring inspection and repair services for years. That long-term relationship allows our crews to develop valuable familiarity with site conditions, previous repairs, and operational requirements while helping the mine address issues before they become larger maintenance concerns.

Supporting mining operations from our office in Elko, Nevada, COMANCO provides mining liner inspections, geomembrane repairs, containment maintenance, and geosynthetic construction services throughout the Western U.S.

Fresh liner, mountain views, and a crew getting it done! ⛰️

Just south of Reno, Superintendent Martin Calderon Sr. and the COMANCO crew are hard at work at a Nevada ranch. With the Sierra Nevada mountains as their backdrop, the team is removing existing geomembrane liner and installing a new containment system to support the site's long-term performance and reliability.

Great morning on the course with the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County. ⛳

COMANCO was proud to participate in the SWA's 22nd Annual Golf Tournament and 3rd Annual Patrick Carroll Invitational at Park Ridge Golf Course in Lake Worth.

Built atop the former Lantana Landfill, the course reminds us how thoughtful landfill closure and environmental engineering can transform properties into valuable community assets.

We appreciate the opportunity to spend time with SWA leadership, industry partners, and members of Palm Beach County's solid waste community. Events like these help strengthen the relationships that support successful landfill and containment projects long after construction is complete.

Nearly 99 football fields.

That's the equivalent of 5.69 million square feet of AGRU Green Geomembrane and geosynthetic materials COMANCO has installed on one of Florida's largest ongoing gypsum stack closure projects.

At approximately 70% complete, COMANCO's team continues advancing installation while maintaining the highest standards for safety, quality, and environmental stewardship. The distinctive green geomembrane is more than a visual highlight. It serves as a critical component of the engineered closure system designed to support long-term stormwater management, site stabilization, and environmental protection.

Led by Superintendent Ramon Irrizarry and Foreman Fredy Serrano, our 20-person crew has successfully navigated challenging site logistics, multiple contractor interfaces, and Florida's demanding climate to keep this project on schedule for completion in March 2027.
