Introducing : Meet Lee!

At Plattco, we're proud of the people who make a difference, not just through the work they do, but in the communities they call home.

We're excited to introduce , a new series highlighting the ways our team members give back and support causes that matter to them.

First up is Lee, our newest Regional Sales Manager serving North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida!

For the past 18 years, Lee has been involved with the Roman Open Charity in Georgia, serving in several leadership roles, including six years as president. Today, he continues his involvement as Past President on the executive board.

When asked what inspired him to get involved, Lee shared: "Being on other boards, you only work for one charity. Being part of the Roman Open, you get to touch 40-plus charities."

Through its annual golf tournament, the Roman Open supports more than 40 local nonprofits in Whitfield and Murray counties. This year alone, the organization raised $95,000, contributing to nearly $3 million raised since 1990.

We're excited to welcome Lee to the Plattco team and recognize his dedication to making a difference in his community.

For Jordan, that means continually looking for ways to deliver quality products while improving cost, lead times, and the options available to customers.

Two components can look similar but have different dimensions, tolerances, materials, or specifications.

Those differences matter when that component has to work correctly with the rest of a valve assembly.

This week we welcomed Mayor Hughes, Ward 2 Councilor James Evans, and Community Development Director Andrew Durrin for a behind-the-scenes look at our manufacturing operations and the people who make it all possible.

During their visit, we shared how our valves are made, from the pouring and molding process to the finished product. We also discussed the evolution of our manufacturing processes, ongoing facility investments, and improvements in safety and efficiency.

It was a great opportunity to show our local leaders what happens inside Plattco every day and share how our team continues to innovate while serving customers across a variety of industries.

We're proud to be part of this community and appreciate the opportunity to connect with local leaders who are interested in the work happening right here in their backyard.
