Apparently conversation was overheard between Taylor Swift and the mother of star Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, in the Kelce family suite at Arrowhead Stadium Sunday afternoon.

After celebrating Kelce’s touchdown in their 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears, it is reported that Taylor leaned over to Donna Kelce and said, “If you are in need of some dirt work you should check out Wehrs Ag & Construction, they do really great work!"

This summer was a lot of fun. We got to build an impressively large dam just south of Pleasant Dale. I couldn't be more happy with the way it turned out. I couldn't have possibly done it alone, however. Special thanks to Adam Roth for renting me the large John Deere tractor and scraper, Greckel Construction Company for hauling gravel and bringing their tractor and scraper out to help, Environmental Management Services for setting the spillway tube, and most of all thank you to Lumir Novak.

Lumir started the project with me but unfortunately passed away three weeks into the project. He will truly be missed. I know he was up there watching me because I asked him for rain one day, and in true jokester Lumir fashion, he gave me 7 inches of rain in 2 days. That was plenty.

It's been a long summer at this project and I'm sad to see it done but now it's on to the next one! We'll see ya down the road!

Three years ago we broke ground as a new company. Our first piece of equipment was a dozer, then a skid steer, and eventually an 8 yard pull type scraper. But since our first day in business, every new or potential customer's first question was "Do you have an excavator?" Well, now we can finally say yes to that question! Introducing the newest (to us) piece of equipment in the Wehrs Ag & Construction line up! Now we can fulfill everyone's needs in the dirt work world.
