Another complete Ruud heating & cooling system upgrade in Mountain Top, PA! 🔥❄️

This customer originally called us because their older R-22 air conditioning system was no longer cooling properly due to low refrigerant. With the age of the equipment and R-22 being obsolete, replacement made more sense than putting additional money into the old system.

During our AC diagnostic, we also inspected the existing gas furnace and found a compromised heat exchanger. Because of the potential safety concerns associated with a damaged heat exchanger, the customer decided to replace the furnace at the same time.

We removed the old equipment and installed a new Ruud gas furnace and central air conditioning system, giving the homeowner an updated, reliable system for both heating and cooling.

The new installation included a new Ruud furnace, matching AC system and evaporator coil, updated venting, condensate drainage, refrigerant piping, equipment pad, Aprilaire equipment, and complete system startup and commissioning.

Another oil furnace replacement completed! 🔥

We removed the existing low-boy oil furnace and installed a new high-efficiency Olson oil furnace equipped with a Beckett oil burner.

This oil furnace installation included:
• New Olson low-boy furnace and Beckett burner
• Custom sheet metal transitions to connect to the existing ductwork
• New flue piping and fittings
• New barometric draft regulator
• Oil, electrical, and thermostat reconnections
• Sealing of duct connections
• Complete burner startup and adjustment
• Combustion analysis, draft testing, and safety checks

Proper oil furnace installation involves much more than simply replacing the equipment. Airflow, chimney draft, burner setup, fuel pressure, combustion, and venting all need to be properly tested and adjusted for safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

Another quality HVAC project completed! 🔧❄️

This project involved relocating the customer’s existing air handler to a new location in the basement while fabricating and installing brand-new insulated supply and return duct trunks to improve the overall system layout.

Every duct transition was custom fabricated, sealed, and insulated to help promote proper airflow, maximize system efficiency, and provide reliable long-term performance. A properly designed duct system plays a major role in how well an HVAC system heats and cools a home.

Another heating and hot water upgrade completed by Jake’s Heating & Cooling!

For this project, the customer wanted to separate their heating system from their domestic hot water system. Their old heat/hot water combo boiler had been giving them repeated issues, and every time it broke down, they were left without both heat and hot water.

We removed the existing combination unit and installed a new dedicated heat-only boiler along with a separate electric water heater. This gives the customer a much more serviceable setup and helps prevent one equipment issue from taking down both systems at the same time.

While working through the project, we also found that the existing gas piping was undersized for the equipment being served. We corrected the issue by installing properly sized new gas lines to help ensure safe, reliable, and proper operation.

A great upgrade for comfort, reliability, and peace of mind.

Customer called for heat—ended up saving their well system too.

This tank was completely waterlogged from a ruptured bladder, causing the well pump to short cycle every 5 seconds. That kind of wear can burn out a pump fast.

Caught it during a routine heating service and got it taken care of before it turned into a much bigger (and more expensive) problem.

👉 If your pump is cycling frequently, don’t ignore it—get your well tank checked!
