Before and after of a recent remodel , the finished pictures don't even look like the same house 😱😅
What a nightmare this was and I wish the homeowner allowed us to remove the whole subfloor because it needed it , but I think we went over and above considering the situation we walked into !

The closing wall from hell 😅 we patched In this new maple off of an existing floor in the apartment, and the finishing wall is all brick , being the perfectionist that I am, and with it being a main focal point , I needed to scribe the flooring nice and tight to the brick all the way down or at least as tight and even as possible , around the bump outs and crooked corners, this was no easy task but I think I got through it gracefully 😁👍 finish pictures of this amazing Boston apartment /loft to come !

Second coat of finish going on !😁👌 Very happy with how these old painted floors cleaned up! You can't replicate the beauty of these old growth pine boards , Eastern white pine and it looks to be antique pine in the hallway! Thanks for looking !🙏

I always love uncovering these painted floors to see the beauty underneath 😍 over half a century of patina and character in these floorboards! Refinishing a painted floor is never an easy task but the results are always satisfying 😁 can't wait to get some finished pictures once we put down the urethane! Stay tuned 😎📸

A little glimpse into a day in the life 📸 some serious wear and tear on this floor , we were able to get 90% of it up and bring it back to life again with some Early American 👌

From nightmare 😱 to... Not so bad 😅 coming along nicely on this bear of a project! These homeowners have been through the ringer ,the previous contractor came in , tore holes in the floors and walls then proceeded to no call no show for months leaving their home in shambles , gladly we were able to come in and get things back together and Atleast give them a solid floor to walk on 😅 , I also have never seen a house built so poorly particleboard for the actual subfloor ,this whole house should be re done technically but we did our best to get all the rotted material and replaced a ton of joists !

Next we are finishing off the paneling /drywall, then new vinyl flooring ,baseboard and kitchen re installed ! So we can get these clients back in their home sooner than later 🏠
